Popular American Style Oral English
English Cultural Language Training 1. Fast Track Listening: Successful listening is the starting point to good communicational skills. This first step in the training process will help speed-up the English as a Seconnd Language (ESL) learner ability to hear in the normal English way during a conversation. Throughout this training the ESL learner would had developed an English ear and also would had mastered the skill of listening effectively. 2. Extreme Confidence-Building: Here is where they will learn to be more open and less shy. The confidence comes from within, but the teaching method use in the training can motivate more efforts from any ESL learner. By giving them a reason to believe and wanting to try will be evident in many of our practices. We will continue to build hope and trust in the relationship with our learners so they will feel free to express themselves more. 3. Organizing English Thoughts: If you can think in English more, then you will be able to speak it better. This lesson has many basic sentence structural methods to improve language skills, grammatical structures and proper word usage to increase good English vocabulary, speaking, and pronunciation ability. Thus, the lesson will create an English mind for the learners so they can understand any form of English languages e.g. British, American, and Australian English. 4. Oral Presentations: Oral “Spoken” Presentation is good for the ESL learners to practice speaking over the many topics, researches, or class information. The learners will develop a sense of language control and self confidence when introducing the materials to others to hear. All the learners who are participating will benefit from this practice. 5. Sentence Structures: In order to make proper and clear speeches, the learners will be taught how to make proper sentences and be corrected while learning how to make good sentence structure. The teaching of this step will come from using the American’s native English to learn the language and be organized to follow Royale’s English coaching technique from his understanding of the problems that most ESL learners often have with speaking the language. 6. Proper Diction Techniques & Pronunciation: At this point, there will be use of many kinds of modern technology including audio and video recordings as well as reading materials to aid the development. The practice will allow more English sources to be use in a daily English environment being directed by this American expert foreign English teacher. 7. Review Materials: All ESL learners will get a chance to review lessons more often, but this step will focus on how much information the learners attain and then go over them to refresh their memory. This isn’t a test or examination, it’s just to help them see how far they come in their development and recall it. 8. Responsive & Feedback: To know that the ESL learners can follow English speakers is the goal here. It’s very important at this point that they can listen and understand English people when hearing them speak English. So, the responsive time is measured by how good their listening is. The training at this step is part of step 1 procedure. There will be some intense Q/A （questions and answers). It’s our main goal to improve the learners responsiveness so that they can give the proper feedback to English speaking people. 9. Hollywood Movies: When the ESL learners reach this level, then they can learn how to follow any of their favorite movies. Dialogs are studied from the Hollywood movies with Royale coaching them and explaining the plots and verbiage in the contents. This way the they won’t get confuse by culture differences and slang words used in the movies. 10. Evaluation Process: Now we come to what is called the evaluation process. The learners are given a small exam to measure their growth in the process of learning over the few months within these few steps. On the scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest level of improvement), the learners and Royale have a good sense of how much they’ve improved and developed throughout this process. And hopefully all are happy and satisfied with the results. |
